Retirement of Rev. Jim Thomson
Our Rector. Jim Thomson has announced his intention to retire. He writes in the church magazine, "The reason for my retirement is quite simple - I shall reach the age of 70 in January, and clergy of the Episcopal Church are required to submit their resignation on reaching their 70th birthday. I asked for, and received permission from the Bishop to continue in office for a further three months, so that we could celebrate the Lenten Season and Easter together....."
